I love Pigtown! Why has that area taken so long to turn around?
https://www.homesnap.com/MD/Baltimore/622-Archer-Street I love the Pigtown neighborhood. I see investors sinking money into properties like these all over the place, but there still seems to be resistance...? Can anyone explain that to me. This property has massive potential! Literally a few blocks from everything that downtown Baltimore has to offer, both stadiums, UM Medical center, Inner harbor, Casino, the new Casino concert venue that was just recently announced. And the home is only listed for $159k..?!?! A similar home in an over saturated Fed-Hill would be twice that! Just don't get it. If I were in the market for a house I would definitely be looking into this one.
Long time lurker for HEA, TOW and BT90D, as well as the OG 90DF (of course). This sub is my morning ride to work on the subway. <3 Okay. Let me take a breath. I just caught up on TOW from episode 11-15 (ripped apart), and have these things to say; Paul/Karine -- Knowing that they're in the US now (thanks guys ;> <3), my heart still breaks for her. Paul treats her so awfully, and so condescendingly, I want to throw my phone across the room. Manipulating her emotions, gaslighting her, talking stupidly to her (I sorry I sorry.. seriously STFU dude, you're an ass), AND THEN, trying to hug her and be cuddly on the bed when she's seriously upset and telling him no go away? How could the producers let that happen. Seriously. Blood. Boiling. Paul seriously needs to smarten the fuck up and stop being such a douche, if he wants to be there for his kid. I can totally, 100% understand why some other woman filed charges against him. When he complained about her leaving him in Tonatins by himself in a country where he doesn't speak the language, in a town where he doesn't know anybody, I rolled my eyes. I then rolled them even harder and asked, "Well you got back to Manaus (sp) okay without anyone holding your hand. POOOOOR BABYYY, was it really that hard?" when he actually managed to do it by himself. Corey/Evelin (seriously, I almost spelt it Evilin, I blame y'all!) -- I feel so, so, so bad for Paul. I want to hug him and tell him it's going to be okay, because this poor kid seems so lost. Evelin doesn't support him very well at all, and manipulates the fuck out of his emotions. Of course he's allowed to be upset that she cheated. And of course he's allowed to be upset that the ENNNTIIIIIIRE town of Engabao has been talking behind his back and mocking him for essentially just being a good dude. But he seems like a naively rational dude. The kind we all shake our head at, but love anyway. I'm not sure whether his self-confidence is just supremely low, or if he's just new to being in a relationship, because he seems so unsure of himself when he has to be confrontational about things that bother him. It's clear that he's upset, but that he doesn't know really how to express that he upset, or, whether he honestly knows that it's okay to just be angry at someone when they've hurt you. He's about the most normal of the guys, other than that- he seems like the type to just sit down and actually have a rational conversation to determine a solution, when he's on okay footing. He doesn't seem abusive like the other guys, and knows when someone says no (LOOKING AT YOU COLTEEEEEE AND PAUL), to give them space. Aladin/Laura -- They seem so sweet together, now they're over the whole vibrator thing. His family seems so sweet and welcoming to her, and it was so nice to see the relationship she has with his mom come through in their greeting with each other. His reaction to her breakdown about being homesick and such was really sweet-- his sincerity shone through in that moment, and you could tell that he was concerned (IMHO). Note: It still bothers me a little bit when the women that go to Middle Eastern/East Asian/African countries complain about the cultural customs. Like seriously, did you do NO research before you left? I get 100% that yes, it's a shock, but yo, you aren't in America anymore, and when in Rome, dudes. Jenny/Sumit -- Dude you're his 2nd mom now. Just staaahp. I rooted for these two at first, but now it's getting fairly obvious that he's either got a 2nd wife, or he's scamming her. But also, he has a point. If some dude in a country you've never been to tells you that it's not safe for you to walk around by yourself at night, FOR YOUR SAFETY AND SECURITY, you should probably listen to that advice. Her daughte+in-law showing up to surprise her was extremely sweet. You could tell they were there out of sheer concern-- the way her daughter-in-law was eyeballing Sumit, OOOF. Someone is not your biggest fan buddy, and sees through whatever scammycloud you've got going on. Deavan/Jihoon -- Not gonna lie, I am still rooting for these two ONLY BECAUSE their kid is heckin adorable. Seriously, cried like a little bitch when his birth aired. Oof to the feels guys. But seriously, Jihoon better smarten up and start taking his life seriously, because he's about to have two kids and no stable income. I feel so bad for Deavan, but she should have waited a little longer before jumping two feet into the deep end. I also feel for Jihoon's parents. His mom makes me laugh with her wit (you're thirty, time to gtfo! LOL), and Deavan was right-- it's totally unfair to spring another three people on them when their living space is so small. Offtopic note: What in the sweet heck was going on with Deavans makeup?! Tiffany/Ronald -- (Warning, strong opinion incoming!) Wooboi. Okay, someone hold my drink for a minute. Because this lady. OO. Okay. So, yes, we get that your husband is a 'Recovering Gambling Addict'™ (ISTG if I hear that phrase one. more. time), but you gotta give him a chance here. ON YOUR WEDDING DAY he went to a casino to pick up YOUR DAD who stayed in that hotel, when you could have given him a few selections that DID NOT INVOLVE CASINOS, and he still managed to NOT GIVE INTO TEMPTATION (*shiny oooooh hands* because tempatation). I mean, that was a huge thing for a recovering addict. Holding his bank cards so he can't actually do anything? Boy that sounds like financial abuse and control to me. Get some help lady. Go to a gamblers anonymous meeting and get that shit off your chest. Because you are gonna walk around with that resentment forever, and ruin the marriage you LITERALLY just jumped into. Yes, you're not wrong. You are and your Recovering Gambling Addict ™ husband literally just got married, and you got pregnant 30 seconds later, OH and you need to find a place to live OH and he doesn't make a whole lot. Okay, so. You knew that. And you knew the pressure was gonna be huge. AND YOU KNEW THAT HES A RECOVERING GAMBLING ADDICT™ so the chances of him relapsing were high. But ya did it anyways. So, you made your bed, now you lie in it. Shit sucks. But I have absolutely zero sympathy because you're not an idiot. I *do* have sympathy for your Recovering Gambling Addict™ husband, whom you financially control, knock down when you get the chance, and constantly hold him back from actually getting better, because yeah. He is a Recovering Gambling Addict™, but at least he's trying to do better and be better. I completely understand why he's frustrated. He has been put on a leash. And he isn't allowed to be better, without HER EXPRESS PERMISSION TO ACTUALLY DO ANYTHING, **WHEN SHE'S READY**. Additionally, when they were looking for an apartment. Seriously. Did you not do any research on the country you're moving to?! I have friends in SA, and yes they love it, but DAMN does that country have problems. They've been broken into once or twice. And girl, don't play me, you're from MD. (Have you ever seen the crime map in Baltimore?!) People in MD get their houses robbed too, it's not region specific.

Relocated Production Facility: North Mesa, AZ Annual Capacity *Phase One - 150,000 grams of MPX-branded products (Currently in Operation) *Phase Two - 400,000+ grams (Scheduled for completion in calendar Q3 2018) *Phase Three - 800,000+ grams (Schedule for completion in calendar Q4 2018) New production facility will increase production capacity 2-4x: 11:31 , 25:11
“This acquisition represents a solid addition to our industry and presence in Arizona, a State that offers MPX one of the best-regulated, yet industry-supportive markets in the country,” said W. Scott Boyes, MPX’s Chairman, President and CEO. “The entities being acquired have recorded trailing 12-month revenues of US$15 million and EBITDA of approximately US$3.5 million and its results will be immediately accretive to MPX earnings. Furthermore, the acquired companies are well-managed and will allow both parties to share best practises and benefit from the ability to share purchase economies. With the pending opening of our Apache Junction dispensary, the addition of the Holistic Center, will bring the number of dispensaries managed by MPX in the greater Phoenix market to four, will more than double our cultivation capacity and will materially complement our management team in the State. Adding to our critical mass of operations, this acquisition will add to MPX’s ability to benefit from purchasing economies, spread the administrative overhead costs over a larger revenue base and provide cash flows to support additional growth.”
Beth Stavola, COO and President of MPX’s U.S. operations, adds “With our fourth dispensary opening soon in the Apache Junction suburb and our expanded concentrate production facilities coming on-stream this month, we expect to see our Arizona revenues continue to expand over the next several fiscal quarters. The Arizona program is well-regulated by AZDHS, the patient count continues to grow, the supply and cost of flower and trim for re-sale and concentrate production is excellent and, while the Phoenix area market is increasingly competitive, retail prices and margins remain attractive. This is a great state for MPX to conduct business in.”
TORONTO, April 09, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- MPX Bioceutical Corporation (“MPX” or the “Company”) (CSE:MPX) (OTC:MPXEF) is pleased to announce that the official opening of the its newest “Health for Life” medical marijuana dispensary in the Metropolitan Phoenix area, located at the junction of E. Main and Crimson in the suburb of Apache Junction. This brings the number of dispensaries under MPX management in Arizona’s Sun Valley to four. The Crimson dispensary will meet the needs of patients in this comparatively underserviced southeast quadrant of the region by making available the full spectrum of MPX concentrates, an extensive variety of cannabis flower, and a broad selection of 3rd party, processed cannabis-infused edibles. The Company also announces that it has relocated the processing and production of MPX concentrates to a new location in North Mesa. Phase one of the build-out at this facility, now in operation, will immediately double the current production capacity of MPX-branded products in Arizona to approximately 150,000 grams annually. The second phase scheduled for completion early in calendar Q3 will increase potential production to over 400,000 grams per year and the final phase expected in calendar Q4 will result in annualized capacity increasing to a total in excess of 800,000 grams annually with a wholesale value (at current prices) of approximately US$18 million.
In Nevada, our production capacity has been limited by the availability of raw material, of biomass. And most of our product produced there has been sold 2-3 weeks in advance.

January 31, 2018 - 6:13 - "Right now we are searching for third location. We've got a number of really good prospects there."
March 28, 2018 - 16:29 - "I think we're pretty close on number three. It is a great location and I'm gonna refrain from mentioning the town but it's a great population."
The company, which is building a facility to grow and process marijuana for medicine, sold 51 percent of its real estate and management companies to The Canadian Bioceutical Corp., for $5.1 million. The agreement was announced Tuesday. The company is in the process of building a 50,000-square-foot facility on Innovation Way, next door to Amazon and Mass Biologics, the medical research and testing facility run by the University of Massachusetts.
TORONTO, Ontario, June 15, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Canadian Bioceutical Corporation (the “Company” or “BCC”) (CSE:BCC) (OTC:CBICF) today announced that further to its press release of April 4, 2017, the Company, through its wholly-owned subsidiary CGX Life Sciences, Inc. (CGX), has completed the acquisition of a 51% interest in IMT, LLC and Fall River Developments, LLC (“FRD”), Massachusetts registered companies active in the cannabis space.
The marijuana industry has become a popular spot for Fall River. According to MPX Bioceutical Corp, construction of a 40,000 square foot marijuana cultivation/processing facility on Innovation Way in Fall River, Massachusetts is targeted to be complete in the summer of this year with cultivation beginning in the third quarter of 2018. Cannatech Medicinals, who is owned by MPX Bioceutical Corp, has been working on the facility next to Amazon. They have also commenced construction on the first of three dispensaries in Massachusetts, including one at 160 Hartwell Street in Fall River near the Applebee’s restaurant. The Hartwell Street location will get their supply from the Innovation Way facility.
CannaTech Medicinals; Hope, Heal, Health; and Northeast Alternatives will all be in the running for licenses to grow and sell marijuana for the recreational market. Recreational sales are scheduled to start July 1. CannaTech Medicinals is building a 50,000-square-foot growing facility and processing laboratory in the biopark on Innovation Way. It is also building a dispensary off Hartwell Street.
Under "RMD information", the current status of all registered marijuana dispensaries and applicants through April 27 2018 - Entries #35-37 - Cannatech Medicinals, Inc.:
*- Only two of three have "Proposed Dispensary Locations" (Fall River, Attleboro) *- No siting profile has been submitted for the third dispensary yet, invited to submit on December 12, 2017 (same date as Attleboro)

1 production facility in Gaithersburg/Montgomery Country (through Rosebud Organics/Budding Rose, Inc.) (January 8, 2018) - No square footage provided. However,
January 08, 2018 - The facility is completely built-out and when fully operational will be capable of producing 825,000 grams of MPX-branded cannabis concentrates per annum.
1 dispensary in the White Marsh suburb in Baltimore, Maryland (through LMS Wellness, Benefit LLC) (December 12, 2017) - No specific address found
I'm guessing that they will be selling MPX concentrates through these dispensaries as they have done in Arizona and Nevada once their production facility is operational. I'll wait for the press release and theMelting Point Extracts site to update before factoring that into their footprint.
MPX Bioceutical Corporation (the “Company” or “MPX”) (CSE:MPX) (OTC:MPXEF) today announced that the Company, through its indirect wholly-owned subsidiary, S8 Management, LLC (“S8 Management”), is entering into a management agreement (the “Management Agreement”) with LMS Wellness, Benefit LLC (“LMS”) which will result in MPX building and managing a full service medical cannabis dispensary in the White Marsh suburb of Baltimore, Maryland.
Photo caption: A medical marijuana company has signed a lease for the space at 4909 Fairmont Ave., next to the mural. A medical marijuana dispensary is coming to a long-dormant space on Fairmont Avenue in downtown Bethesda. Rich Greenberg, of Greenhill Capital, which owns the building, said Budding Rose LLC signed the lease for the roughly 1,900-square-foot space about six months ago. He said work is ongoing to fit out the interior to meet the dispensary’s needs, and he wasn’t sure when the shop would be ready to open.
The management agreements with Budding Rose and Rosebud will result in MPX subsidiaries now operating three medical cannabis enterprises in the State of Maryland. The first management agreement with LMS Wellness, Benefit LLC was announced on December 12, 2017. Rosebud is one of only 14 licenses issued to process cannabis derivatives in the State of Maryland. The facility is completely built-out and when fully operational will be capable of producing 825,000 grams of MPX-branded cannabis concentrates per annum. Budding Rose will operate a dispensary in a high-traffic area of downtown Bethesda, Maryland, in close proximity to the Walter Reed Military Medical Center and National Institutes of Health. Bethesda, Maryland is located within the Capital Beltway and is one of the wealthiest communities in the Capital Region. The dispensary is currently under construction and is expected to be operational in late February of this year.
GreenMart will operate a dispensary, under the “Health for Life” brand, in a high-traffic area of Baltimore, Maryland, situated off of North Point Road in the community of Colgate. The location is conveniently located near Interstate Routes 695, 95 and US Route 40 and a 15-minute drive from Baltimore’s Inner Harbour, Canton Waterfront, Federal Hill, and Fells Point. Within 2 miles of the location sits Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, a teaching hospital within the world renowned John Hopkins Health System. GreenMart has been welcomed and supported by the community leaders of Colgate. The dispensary is currently under construction and is expected to be operational in April 2018 of this year.

Baltimore And Texas Men Indicted For Alleged $364 Million Ponzi Scheme—One Of The Largest Ever Charged In Maryland
This is the best tl;dr I could make, original reduced by 70%. (I'm a bot)
"Federal prosecutors, FBI agents, and our SEC partners together interrupted an ongoing fraud scheme, with the potential to victimize even more people. According to the indictment, the defendants lured investors through an elaborate web of lies, duping them into paying millions of dollars into this Ponzi scheme," said U.S. Attorney Robert K. Hur. According to the fourteen-count indictment, beginning in January 2013, the defendants perpetrated a Ponzi scheme to defraud investors of more than $364 million. The defendants falsely represented to investors that they would use the investors' money to buy consumer debt portfolios and make money for them by collecting the payments that people made on their debts or selling the portfolios for a profit to third party debt buyers-in a practice called "Flipping." According to the related complaint filed by the SEC, the victim investors included small business owners, restauranteurs, construction contractors, retirees, doctors, lawyers, accountants, bankers, talent agents, professional athletes, and financial advisors, located in Maryland, Washington, D.C., Northern Virginia, Las Vegas, Texas, and elsewhere. The indictment alleges that in order to induce investors to participate, the defendants falsely represented who they were buying the debt portfolios from and how much they were paying for the portfolios; whether they were investing their own funds, and their track record of success. Further, the indictment alleges that the defendants falsely represented that the monies they paid to investors were "Proceeds" from collections and/or flipping debt portfolios, when in fact, the proceeds were paid from funds provided by other investors. The indictment alleges that Merrill, Ledford, and Jezierski personally enriched themselves and concealed their diversion of $73 million of investors' funds to purchase and renovate high end homes in Maryland, Texas, Nevada, and Florida, purchase luxury automobiles, jewelry, boats, and a share in a jet plane, gamble $25 million at casinos, and support a lavish lifestyle.

Gamer tag: PoeThePanda47 All teams are fully customized and I have a roster for each team setup as well. I know a lot of these teams aren't where the real teams are but I fixed it to like the MLB minor league system many teams play in large markets. I tried to base some teams on teams that do or once existed as a professional basketball team that was in the area. I didn't name the Seattle team the Sonics because I felt like the Sonics deserve to be strictly NBA not a minor league team if they ever do make a come back. I also tried to avoid teams being in the same market such as the Jazz and the Thunder D league teams being in in OKC or SLC. -The Iowa Energy is the only team that plays in the same exact arena as they do in real life. -The Greensboro Swarm play in the large arena in the same complex that they play at. -The Rio Grande Valley Vipers I moved to a larger arena in Laredo, TX still along the Rio Grande River. -The New Mexico Thunderbirds I moved to The Pit aka WisePies Arena in Albuquerque. -The Austin Spurs I moved to the larger Frank Erwin Center just south of the University of Texas campus in downtown Austin. -The Texas Legends I moved to Fort Worth as Dallas & Fort Worth are decent drives. Fort Worth fans don't have to travel as far to enjoy a professional basketball game. -The Idaho Stampede and the Tulsa 66ers I moved back to there original locations as both irl are very close to their original team. -I felt like the Scottrade Center was a little too big for a d league team when a perfect size arena is nearby that's why STL plays in st Charles
-I moved the Grand Rapids Drive to the larger Van Andel Arena in downtown Grand Rapids.

Hey Rosetta!, a great band from Newfoundland, is on tour in the US this (and next) month, you should check them out.
I first heard about Hey Rosetta! when I was living in St. John's. I was invited out to their CD release show having never heard of them before. I was blown away and have been making sure to see them anytime they swing through Nova Scotia. They are a highly entertaining live show and if you live in or near these cities it would be worth checking them out. I think they are touring with Hot Hot Heat (also Canadian). Some of my favourites of their videos: There's An Arc - Very fun video for “There’s An Arc” filmed in the lead singer's (Tim) house. I believe it is all one take. Red Heart - video for “Red Heart” which is one of their more well known tracks I think. It has been on CBC radio 2 a bunch. Red Song - “Red Song” is not from any album (Their is an EP of it though) but it is just wonderful. QUEENSRYCHE Announce US Headlining Tour w/Armored Saint
Internationally renowned Seattle based metal outfit QUEENSRŸCHE have announced their next headlining tour throughout the United States. The month long trek will take place this Fall, starting on November 15th in Seattle, WA and concluding on December 15th in Colorado Springs, CO. Queensryche will be joined by the iconic Armored Saint as direct support, along with Midnight Eternal on all dates for the upcoming tour. The band continues to perform across the world on the strength of their latest full length album, Condition Human, which was released in October (2015). Dates for the Fall headlining tour can be found below. Speaking about the upcoming US tour and playing with Armored Saint, Queensryche vocalist Todd La Torre comments, "We are pleased to announce that we will be hitting the road this November with the one and only Armored Saint and Midnight Eternal. We're looking forward to seeing all of you for this great billing of musical diversity and high energy performances! Come join the Ryche this November - December!" Lead guitarist and founding member Michael Wilton also gave his thoughts on the band's fall dates, saying, "Queensryche is proud to be embarking on our Fall 2016 - Condition Human US tour with special guests Armored Saint and Midnight Eternal! We encourage our fans to come out for this one and prepare yourselves for some high energy rock shows!" Against the formidable obstacles of an ever-changing cultural landscape, the rise and fall of various musical trends, and the near collapse of the record industry itself, QUEENSRŸCHE has secured a triumphant legacy as one of hard rock’s most respected and celebrated acts, selling 30 million albums around the world across a 30-plus-year career. The band’s name is uttered in the same breath as many of the groups they looked to as influences and others who arose as peers. Queensrÿche built a dedicated legion of fans traveling the globe on tour with fellow rock giants like Iron Maiden, Guns N’ Roses, Metallica, Judas Priest, and Def Leppard. In recent years, they’ve consistently delivered high-octane live shows combining the hungry fire of a new band with the tempered experience of master showmen. Even with eleven gold and platinum plaques and a several Top 10 hard rock anthems woven into the very fiber of the genre, Queensrÿche won’t relent. In fact, they’re in the throes of a jaw-dropping creative resurgence! QUEENSRŸCHE U.S. FALL TOUR w/Armored Saint & Midnight Eternal:

My biggest success story would probably be the time when I held a 30 minute conversation with someone who was contemplating suicide. He would only give me his first name, his town, and that he was a convicted felon. He refused to give me his address so I could send someone out. He was also drunk. But after digging through past files and cross referencing them with convicted felons, I found him. I sent someone to his house, and we got him the help he needed. on his way to the mental health facility he asked the deputy to tell me thank you for saving his life. It made me realize how important my job is, and how much I love it.
The one I couldn't save.... I suppose the drownings are the hardest. By the time we can get someone out far enough to save them, they are usually gone. Don't swim in choppy waters... It's not worth it.
My first 911 call... It was a mother who had found her son hanging by a belt. He had committed suicide. I could barely understand what she was saying, because she was so hysterical.
We send a patrol unit. And depending on the officer he will usually stay and chat a bit. Our agency tries to be very active in the community and help when we can. I wouldn't want to work for any other agency.
If you sounds like you're in distress most dispatchers will recognize that tone. I have asked questions that only require yes or no responses because I knew they were in trouble.
The longer you keep the operator on the phone, the better chance we have of finding your location.
Is it a smaller town? Some agencies aren't prepared for traumatic events... That would not be tolerated here. If he wasn't in distress I would be worried.
When we recurve multiple calls about an incident every story is different. :/ different color vehicle, the white person is black, and apparently green shorts look white. It's a cluster sometimes.
That's awesome! We didn't have anything like that at my high school. Multitasking is the biggest part of my job. I alternate between talking to people on the phone, radio, and in the room all at once.
The first year was really hard... You have to learn how to get your job done without letting the emotional part effect you. It's still hard at times. The most difficult calls for me are when children are in danger or have been killed.
If it was a land line then I would automatically send someone out. if it's a cell phone I would stay on the lone and listen for any clues of location and attempt to narrow down your location.
A guy told me his ex gf had turrets of the vagina and that.her new bf was pimping her out and taking advantage of her. I seriously stopped and was like... Wtf!? I asked the man if he was serious, and what turrets of the vagina was... He then Explained the condition and told me he saw it on Oprah.
If you're in a town that you're not familiar with I suppose that would be ok... But calling the non emergency number for the police dept would be ideal.
